A1 Hamburg-Bremen motorway (Germany)

The A1 motorway between Hamburg and Bremen underwent an extension in a project that lasted until the end of 2012, and entailed broadening 73 kilometers of road from four to six lanes. It took four years of construction to complete this monumental project – more quickly than planned, given that this is one of the busiest roads in the North of Germany.

  • 1,173 million m² of concrete for the road
