Great quality from Norway's quarries
The Norwegian mountains are home to some of the oldest rocks in the world.
We make use of the treasures of the land in our own quarries. From here, Mibau Stema supplies the coastal regions on the North and Baltic Seas, which are poor in hard rock.
These quarries produce 15-17 million tonnes of stone materials annually, most of which are exported to over 40 terminals in Northern Europe.
In-house production audits in our laboratories and ongoing quality monitoring by recognised external institutes ensure the quality of our products.
Environmentally friendly mining. When production ceases in the distant future, the excavated areas will be restored to the fjord once the facilities have been dismantled.
